Autumn in Wollongong

This blog is dedicated to my mother and grandmothers, who are interested in plants.

Camelia bush in our yard
It is autumn in Wollongong. The native trees in this part of the world do not turn, but many trees from the northern hemisphere have been imported, so one can see bits of color throughout the city. There are also many flowering bushes this time of year which add a lot of beauty to the landscape.

Not sure what this is, but it is everywhere here and adds a lot of color
